Hôtel de Bahyse is located at Route du Village 11, 1807 Blonay, Switzerland. Blonay is 5 km from Montreux, in the Vaud Riviera, between Lake Geneva and the Alps. Blonay train station is a 2-minute walk from the hotel.
02What are the room rates at Hôtel de Bahyse?
Our double rooms start from CHF 115 per night for single occupancy and CHF 135 for double occupancy. WiFi and parking are included. Tourist tax (CHF 3/pers/night) and breakfast buffet (CHF 15/pers) are charged separately. Rates vary by season (high season: May to September).
03Is breakfast included?
The buffet breakfast is served every morning from 7 to 10 am for CHF 15 per person, on top of the room rate. It showcases regional produce. The tourist tax of CHF 3 per person per night is also added.
04What are the check-in and check-out times?
Rooms are available from 2 pm and must be vacated by 11 am. Reception is open from 9 am to 9 pm; for a later arrival, let us know when booking and we will make arrangements.
05Is there parking at the hotel?
Yes: 30 free, secure spaces behind the building, no reservation needed. Ideal for exploring Montreux, Vevey, Lavaux or the ski resorts by car.
06How do I get there without a car?
Blonay railway station, on the Vevey–Blonay line, is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. From Geneva Airport allow about 1 h 30 with a change at Vevey; from Zurich about 3 hours. Riviera public transport then takes you to Montreux, Vevey and Les Pléiades.
07Does Hôtel de Bahyse accept pets?
Yes, pets are welcome at Hôtel de Bahyse. The hotel has two gardens and the trails around Blonay are ideal for walking your companion.
08Is there a restaurant at the hotel?
The hotel no longer runs a restaurant. Breakfast is served every morning, and several restaurants are a few minutes away: Al Pomodoro Rosso and Le Blonay’s in the village, La Brique, Café de la Place and the Auberge Communale in Saint-Légier. Reception is happy to book a table for you.

10What are the cancellation and payment terms?
Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before arrival. Payment is made on arrival, in cash or by card. The hotel closes every year from December 15 to January 15.
11What is the history of Hôtel de Bahyse?
Hôtel de Bahyse is one of the oldest hotels in the region, founded in 1550. The building was originally owned by the de Blonay family, before becoming the communal inn in 1744. Since 1941, the Rosset family has continued the hospitality tradition, now in its third generation.
